Rohingya Muslims are currently facing a humanitarian crisis; the Burmese government is imposing discriminatory policies on them. The persecution against the Rohingya can be described in no other terms but that of ethnic cleansing and genocide. There is no reason for innocent men to be killed, women to be raped, and children to be dragged away from their families. Broken homes, broken lives - and none of them deserve it.

I realise this is shittiest thing to post on your Independence Day but now you can see why I would fail in an American school

This has seven hundred notes and it’s basically out of my control now but omg this is the Canadian grading scale

THIS is the American grading scale. As you can see, it is completely and utterly designed to make students feel like they are failures. If you think you’d do terribly in Canada, just try and deal with the grades in America. Personally, I’d be thrilled with the Canadian grading system.

But you dont understand if you get a really nasty teacher they might even consider 68% a failing grade.

I’ve really tried to understand the Israelis. I used to work on a farm in Israel. I speak Hebrew. I watch their news. All the time they talk about fear. How they have to run to their bunkers to hide from the rockets. How their children can’t sleep because of the sirens. This is not a good way for them to live. We Palestinians don’t talk about fear, we talk about death. Our rockets scare them; their rockets kill us. We have no bomb shelters, we have no sirens, we have nowhere we can take our children and keep them safe. They are scared. We are dying.
